This Renters’ Rights Awareness eLearning course provides a practical introduction to the rights and protections afforded to renters under current UK housing law. Learners will explore key elements of renters’ rights legislation, including tenancy terms, deposit protection, repair and maintenance obligations, eviction safeguards and dispute resolution options. The course explains what renters can reasonably expect from landlords and managing agents, how to recognise when rights may be breached, and where to find support and advice. It is designed for tenants, housing professionals and anyone who wants to understand their rights and responsibilities in the private rented sector.
Course Aims
The primary aims of the Renters’ Rights Awareness course are to:
