This Modern Slavery Awareness eLearning course provides a concise introduction to the issue of modern slavery, including what it is, how it can present in the UK and globally, and why awareness is crucial for organisations and individuals. Learners will explore the forms modern slavery can take (such as forced labour and human trafficking), recognise common indicators, and understand the legal and ethical responsibilities to identify, respond to and report concerns. The course helps organisations build a culture of vigilance and support ethical supply chains and workplaces.
Course Aims
The primary aims of the Modern Slavery Awareness course are to:
- Introduce the concept of modern slavery and explain why it matters in today’s legal and ethical context
- Raise awareness of the different forms of modern slavery, such as forced labour, human trafficking and servitude
- Clarify legal obligations and organisational responsibilities for identifying and responding to modern slavery risks
