This Menopause Awareness eLearning course provides practical and supportive training on the menopause and its potential impact on individuals in the workplace. Learners will gain a clear understanding of what the menopause is, common symptoms and how these can affect physical and psychological wellbeing at work. The course also covers the importance of supportive workplace culture, effective communication, reasonable adjustments and how colleagues and managers can create an inclusive environment that helps people manage menopausal symptoms while maintaining wellbeing and performance.
Course Aims
The primary aims of the Menopause Awareness course are to:
- Introduce what the menopause is, including stages and common symptoms
- Raise awareness of how menopausal symptoms can impact individuals at work, including physical, emotional or cognitive effects
- Clarify organisational and legal expectations around supporting employees experiencing the menopause
